Branded Content for Harvey Nichols
One of Britain’s top fashion retailers. One of Italy’s most colourful Billionaires. One hell of a shoot – This is how the opportunity was presented to Pebble Studios. And clearly, we liked the sound of it!
As part of Harvey Nichols ‘Britalia’ campaign – celebrating Harvey Nichols British style with an Italian twist, we were asked to produce a branded content series starring Lapo Elkann, Italian billionaire playboy/philanthropist/businessman/Fiat heir/fashionista.
Due to Lapo’s timings, we had a 3-hour window to capture all the content we needed with him, meaning we needed to shoot all cutaways and exterior shots before he arrived. One problem was that we needed to film Lapo driving from Harvey Nichols to the Fiat HQ, within this time window. Despite only being a 1.5-mile drive, this is central London. On a Friday. In central London. On a Friday. So, having used up a third of our allotted time with Lapo and his trusty Fiat 500, we were lucky that his enthusiasm and efficiency allowed us to capture the remaining shots in time! On a Friday!
Once we had the rushes in the can, we started working on the edits at Pebble HQ as well as designing and creating a number of title animations to accompany the film. The film was very well received by both Harvey Nichols and Lapo and ran on social media throughout November.
